Terms of Use

Last updated: June 28, 2026

In short: Athanor is a single-player puzzle game provided as-is. Play it, enjoy it, and please don't try to break, copy, or resell it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Athanor (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

4. In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, removing ads or cosmetic items). All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by the developer.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, artwork, symbols, code, and the "Athanor" name, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. Historical alchemical symbols and public-domain references depicted in the App are not claimed as exclusive property. All sound is synthesized and original to the App.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them. Any device-level maintenance, support, and warranty claims should be directed as described in Apple's standard EULA.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
