How do I set up my salary?

When you first open MaaşX, the setup screen asks for your sector, gross salary, and start date. That's it — the app calculates everything else (net salary, SSI, taxes) automatically based on 2026 Turkish labor law parameters.
How do I add overtime?

Tap any day on the calendar, then select "Add Overtime". Choose the overtime type (normal weekday, weekend, or public holiday) and enter the hours. MaaşX automatically applies the correct multiplier and adds it to your monthly summary.
How are overtime multipliers calculated?

According to Turkish labor law: Normal overtime is 1.5x your hourly rate. Weekend overtime is 2x. Public holiday overtime is also 2x. The app handles all calculations automatically based on your gross salary.
How do I track my leave?

Tap a day on the calendar and select "Add Leave". Choose the leave type (annual, sick, excused, unpaid). Your remaining leave balance is automatically updated. The app calculates your annual leave entitlement based on your seniority.
What tax brackets does MaaşX use?

MaaşX uses the official 2026 Turkish income tax brackets and includes SSI employee/employer contributions, stamp tax, and minimum living allowance (AGI) calculations. These are updated when tax parameters change.
How does the budget feature work?

Tap any day on the calendar to add income or expense entries. Categorize them (rent, food, transport, etc.) and see your remaining budget until the next payday. The monthly summary card shows your spending vs. income at a glance.
Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Nothing is sent to external servers. Your salary and financial data are protected by iOS encryption and sandboxing. Deleting the app removes all data.
Can I change my salary or sector later?

Yes! Go to Settings to update your gross salary, sector, or start date at any time. The app will recalculate your net salary and all related values immediately.
Which public holidays are included?

MaaşX includes all official Turkish public holidays for 2026: New Year's Day, National Sovereignty Day (April 23), Labor Day (May 1), Commemoration of Atatürk (May 19), Eid al-Fitr, Democracy Day (July 15), Eid al-Adha, Victory Day (August 30), and Republic Day (October 29).
What is MaaşX Pro?

How do I subscribe or cancel?

You can subscribe from Settings → Pro inside the app. To cancel, go to your Apple ID settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MaaşX Pro → Cancel. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, go to Settings → Pro → Restore Purchases. This will re-activate your subscription if it's still valid on your Apple ID.
